ULTRASOUND

Utilizes high-frequency sound waves to display moving, 3D images of the inside of the body on a monitor.

DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY

Usually takes less time than traditional film-based exams, and there is a lower radiation dose required to produce images.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)

Can reveal medical conditions that are not easily diagnosed through an X-ray, ultrasound or computed tomography (CT) scan.

NUCLEAR MEDICINE SCANNER

Employs a powerful camera to generate crystal-clear images used to quickly detect and characterize cardiac disease.

PET CT SCAN

Combines different types of digital images to provide complete information on the size, shape and location of cancerous growths.

FLUOROSCOPY

ACR ACCREDIDATION

Ogden Regional Medical Center has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). In addition, Utah Imaging Center (part of the Ogden Regional Medical Center imaging network) has been accredited for MRI breast imaging by ACR, one of only two imaging centers in Utah to have earned this distinction.

By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have achieved accreditation in all of the College’s voluntary, breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program.

ACR accredidation ensures our patient's that

• Our hospital, and imaging center has voluntarily gone through a rigorous review process to be sure it meets nationally accepted standards.
• The personnel are well qualified, through education and certification, to perform and interpret your medical images and administer your radiation therapy treatments.
