Questions About Seasonal And H1N1 Flu?
Visitor Restrictions And Guidelines
If you are planning to visit a patient at Ogden Regional Medical Center in Weber County, please review these temporary visitor restrictions for the 2009-2010 flu season:
No Sick Visitors
If you or your loved ones have any of these flu symptoms, stay home until fully recovered or see your physician:
- Fever greater than 100
- Sore throat and/or cough
- Unusual or extreme fatigue
-
Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
No One Under Age 14
Visitors younger than 14 are not allowed in patient care areas unless they are a patient. We know this flu prevention measure is especially difficult for loved ones. Please understand that it keeps your hospitalized family member or friend, your children - especially newborns - and other patients safe from exposure to the flu.
No More Than Two Visitors
Patients can have only two visitors at a time, unless it is an end-of-life situation. This applies to hospitalized patients and people being treated in our emergency department.
Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your upper sleeve.
