American Cancer Society Resource Library

Ogden Regional Medical Center is also home to the first official Cancer Resource Center in Utah, established through an exclusive partnership between the American Cancer Society and this Ogden hospital in Weber County.

The Center provides the most up-to-date information about individual cancer treatment options and other resources available to patients. If you want to take proactive steps to prevent cancer from returning, you can research online information about cancer at the Center at no cost. You'll also find valuable literature from the American Cancer Society.

You can also benefit from the well-stocked gift closet at the Cancer Resource Center in Ogden. It holds prostheses and camisoles as well as wigs, hats, scarves, cosmetics and more to patients undergoing breast cancer treatment and facing partial or total hair loss. The confidence-building accessories that help women keep up their appearance during treatment are provided free of charge. The gift closet at this and other hospitals in Utah operate on monetary grants and in-kind donations.

The Cancer Resource Center is staffed by volunteers trained by the American Cancer Society and Ogden Regional Medical Center. They can help you through every step of the treatment process, from diagnosis to recovery and future screenings. These experts can connect you to local community services and many other resources.
